Rosedale House, is a beautiful homestead-style self contained accommodation property, situated on the outskirts of Mansfield in North East Victoria’s magnificent High Country. Although a short drive or leisurely stroll to the centre of town, you will enjoy the tranquillity of our 5 acres with peaceful rural views. Rosedale is a 40 minute drive from the ski resorts of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling and just a 15 minute drive to the shores of Lake Eildon, Lake Nillahcootie, or wonderful cool mountain-fed rivers.
Whether you’re cycling, snow skiing, four wheel driving, fishing, horse riding, boating or touring wineries & breweries and indulging in gourmet local produce, Rosedale House is the perfect base for exploring the High Country year-round. On our doorstep are Mansfield, Mt Buller, Mt Stirling, Craig’s Hut, Lake Eildon, Howqua and Delatite Rivers, Lake Nillahcootie. Experience the great wine and food at nearby Delatite Winery & explore local breweries in Mansfield and Jamieson. The quality restaurants, pubs and cafes in Mansfield offer something for every taste.
Rosedale House is a perfect base for those who want to enjoy the fabulous cycling trails in the region. With the Great Victorian Rail Trail or the challenges of world class mountain biking trails, there’s something for every keen rider.
Rosedale House is well appointed with luxurious touches to make you feel at home, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area where you can relax by the wood fire heater in winter. The house is air conditioned for comfort in the summer months.
The house features four individual suites (all with tv); all have king beds that can be split into 2 singles if required. With the addition of 4 single bed trundles, the house sleeps up to 12 guests.
Rosedale House Apartment – an apartment option is available, where guests have use of one bedroom and bathroom as well as the large kitchen/living area. A second room is available, making the Apartment option able to sleep up to 6 guests. We only let out to one group at a time, so the remainder of the house would be locked off.
