Mansfield’s newest accomodation

Rosedale House is a beautiful new guest house bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Mansfield, a short stroll to the centre of town, only 45mins from Mt Buller and Mt Stirling alpine resorts in north east Victoria. Rosedale House offers individual suites or you can rent the entire house, ideal for couples, groups and families, popular off-mountain accommodation for skiers, car clubs, cycling groups, horse events, 4WD enthusiasts, country retreats and girls’ weekends.

Guests will enjoy our beautiful suites, spacious central living area with big leather couches, large screen TV, enormous dining table, generous fully-appointed kitchen and laundry with drying cupboard. A huge wood fire in winter will give you that warm country glow and, with a delicious continental style breakfast every morning, what more could you ask for?

Set on five acres of farmland, large picture windows frame stunning views of magestic red gums, wildlife and starry starry nights. You can catch yourself a Silver Perch in our well-stocked dam or simply relax and watch the sunset, serenaded by frogs, with a glass of wine or a BBQ on our wide country-style verandahs. The property has plenty of parking and is pet-friendly with fenced accommodation for horses too.

Whether you’re skiing, cycling, driving or horse riding, Rosedale House is the perfect base for exploring the High Country year-round, including Mansfield, Mt Buller, Mt Stirling, Craig’s Hut, Powers Lookout, Lake Eildon, Howqua and the Delatite, Lake Nilacootie and many small towns such as Jamieson and Bonnie Doon.

Immerse yourself in the legends of the High Country, including Ned Kelly, The Man From Snowy River, The Castle and A River Somewhere… Go skiing, driving, fishing, horse riding and waterskiing, explore High Country wineries, cafes and pubs, where you will find the perfect latte, delicious cool climate wines and gourmet local produce, or enjoy some pampering at one of Mansfield’s wonderful day spas and retreats – it’s all on your doorstep!
